We expect that our school will have a positive environment where everyone displays responsibility, respect, and cooperation. A community atmosphere exists through parental support and involvement, as well as community use of the building.
The mission of the Pine Valley Elementary School is to provide a comprehensive and academically challenging education for all students in an atmosphere that will stimulate and nurture the student's intellectural, moral, social and physical development in order to prepare each student for responsible participation in the American democratic society.
The Pine Valley Elementary School has a unique relationship with SUNY Fredonia. In addition to student teachers, beginning music education students visit the school and teach lessons in the classrooms. Students from Fredonia State's EDU 105 classes visit our classrooms on a weekly basis to observe teaching and to experience what teaching is all about.
